About Shouty
Shouty was conceived and created by NeonSeon in high school. The Shouty Mack comic strip debuted on October 26, 1991 in The Weekly—a student newspaper at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago. The strip addressed topics ranging from procrastination to discrimination to positive thinking. Although the strip was discontinued the following year, NeonSeon always sensed that Shouty’s journey was incomplete.
In 2008, NeonSeon began developing Shouty through Life of Shouty, a series of books featuring his struggles and adventures.
